For the second year in a row, the will community together on Saturday, October
26th, 2024, to recognize and celebrate Afro Caribbean Youth living in Grey and Bruce counties. The first awards where held in 2023.
The awards ceremony will take place at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine, and Philip Saunders will be the special guest speaker. Saunders is a multidisciplinary artist, educator, and creator of the Afrocentric Mural at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine. His work spans Ontario and includes oil paintings, charcoal drawings, murals, and digital illustrations.
Registration for the awards ceremony, where Saunders will be the keynote speaker, is now open. All are welcome to come and celebrate good fellowship with one another. Online registration is available at www.kincardine.ca/ACYA2024–RSVP or by calling 519–389–1857 by October 20th, 2024.
