Labour Day Parade ‘Celebrating Labour’ in 2018

The annual Labour Day Parade in Port Elgin (Saugeen Shores) saw some 2,000 union members and union retirees march in solidarity under the banner ‘Celebrating Labour’.

Per capita, it is one of the largest parades held in the Province of Ontario and saw members bus in from across five provinces.

 

The parade was followed up by a BBQ lunch, open to the community, and held at the Unifor Family Education Centre.
