Each year approximately 150 young students from across Ontario are selected to participate in Ontario’s Legislative Page Program.  The students must be attending grade 7 or 8 with a minimum level 4 or 80% academic average.

The Legislative Page Program is an opportunity for students to be a part of the action at Queen’s Park. Students see first-hand how the government works and how a bill becomes law.

At Queen’s Park, Pages fill many different roles including working in the Chamber during sittings; delivering documents to MPPs’ and Assembly offices; meeting with MPPs and other key legislative figures.

When not serving in the chamber, Pages receive lessons and tutoring and also receive an honorarium during their three-week term of duty.

Applications for the spring 2023 term are now open and are being accepted until November 30th, 2022.
