OPP: Stunt driver charged in Kincardine

South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers stopped and investigated a vehicle while conducting proactive patrols in Kincardine.

On Thursday, August 6, at 3:13 p.m., South Bruce OPP members were conducting e patrols along Highway 9 in the Municipality of Kincardine when a vehicle was observed travelling at 106 km/h in a posted 60 km/h zone.

The vehicle was stopped, and the driver, a 28-year-old from Brussels, was charged with the following offence under the Highway Traffic Act:

  • Drive motor vehicle – perform stunt – excessive speed

A 30-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension and a 14-day vehicle impoundment were initiated, with the driver facing a future court date.
