On October 20, 2022, at approximately 7:00 a.m., the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of gunfire at a residence south of Denny’s Dam near Highway 21.
The Grey Bruce OPP, in partnership with Saugeen Shores Police and along with the OPP West Region Provincial Liaison Team, Tactics and Rescue Unit, Emergency Response Team, and the Canine Unit responded to the area and established containment to facilitate the investigation. Highway 21 was closed for several hours until it was determined that there was no threat to public safety. All roadways have been re-opened.
There were no injuries. The investigation is ongoing under the direction of the Grey Bruce Crime Unit.
