Members of the South Bruce Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating a fatal house fire north of Kincardine.
On Friday, December 19, 2025, just after 4:00 a.m., South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with the Kincardine Fire Department, and Bruce County Paramedics, responded to a fully engulfed house fire on North line in Kincardine Township.
Emergency services located three fully engulfed buildings, which were extinguished. Upon searching the property, an adult male was found deceased.
The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next-of-kin.
The South Bruce OPP Crime Unit is engaged with the investigation, with the assistance of the OPP Forensic Identification Services Unit and the Ontario Office of the Fire Marshal.
