On March 30, 2022, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), West Region OPP Tactical Rescue Unit (TRU), West Region OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) members, executed a search warrant at a property along Side road 15 north in Brant Township.
As a result of the execution of the search warrants, police seized a quantity of controlled substances with an estimated value of $10,744.00. Police also seized offence related property with an estimated value of $16,550.
The investigation has resulted in charges against three people.
A 52 year old from Brockton has been charged with:
- Possession of Cocaine for the Purposes of Trafficking
- Possession of Methamphetamine
- Possession of Ecstasy
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
- Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
The accused will be appearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton to answer to the charges.
A 25 year old from Brockton has been charged with:
- Possession of Cocaine for the Purposes of Trafficking
- Possession of Methamphetamine
- Possession of Ecstasy
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
- Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
The accused will be appearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton to answer to the charges.
A 39 year old from Brockton has been charged with:
- Possession of Cocaine for the Purposes of Trafficking
- Possession of Methamphetamine
- Possession of Ecstasy
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
The accused will be appearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton to answer to the charges.
