Staff Sergeant Lynn McNichol joined the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment on June 2, 2025. S/Sgt McNichol assumes responsibility of policing operations for Kincardine, Huron-Kinloss, Arran-Elderslie, South Bruce & Brockton.
S/Sgt McNichol joins us from Huron County, where she served with the OPP for 18 years dedicating her career to public safety. She has held a wide variety of positions, including frontline Constable, Domestic Violence Investigator, Youth Crime Officer, Property Crimes Investigator, frontline Sergeant, and Operation Support Sergeant.
Now serving as Staff Sergeant, she remains deeply committed to frontline policing and to supporting officers with the tools and resources they need to effectively serve their communities. S/Sgt. McNichol is pleased to be joining the South Bruce detachment and looks forward to building strong relationships while gaining a deeper understanding of the local communities.
