The South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) laid two stunt driving charges over two days.
- On May 3, 2022 at 8:58 a.m., a South Bruce OPP officer on patrol along Highway 21 in Kincardine Township noticed a vehicle moving at a high rate of speed. The vehicle’s speed was displayed on radar at more than 140 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone. A 43-year-old resident from the Municipality of Saugeen Shores was charged with Race a Motor Vehicle
- On May 2, 2022 at 10:15 a.m., a South Bruce OPP officer on patrol along Bruce County Road 19 in Brant Township noticed a vehicle moving at a high rate of speed. The vehicle’s speed was displayed on radar at more than 140 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone. A 36-year-old resident from the Municipality of Brockton was charged with Race a Motor Vehicle
This charge includes an immediate 30-day driver’s license suspension and an immediate 14-day vehicle impoundment.
