Catch the Ace now in Tiverton

The Tiverton & District Lions Club has partnered with Huron Shores Hospice to operate a Catch the Ace progressive raffle lottery under license #M822621.

The tickets will be sold starting on Tuesday afternoon, June 18, with the first draw to be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, at the King’s Pearl Pub & Eatery, 71 King Street, Tiverton, ON.

The person who holds the winning ticket selected in each draw will have chosen an envelope number holding a playing card from the single deck. If the Ace of Spades is found within the envelope selected, in addition to winning 20% of the proceeds from the draw, the person will win the progressive jackpot.

If the card selected is not the Ace of Spades, the selected card is destroyed and the progressive prize portion of the ticket sales for that draw is rolled over into the progressive jackpot for the next Tuesday’s draw. The lottery continues until such time as the Ace of Spades has been found and the progressive jackpot has been awarded.

Anyone 18 years or older is eligible to purchase a ticket. Only 10 tickets can be purchased in one name and any additional tickets in the same name will be removed from the draw bin.

Tickets can be purchased at the following locations:

  • Kwik Way, 61 Main Street, Tiverton, ON
  • Patz Pizza, 56 Main Street, Tiverton, ON
  • Penetangear, 791 Queen Street, Kincardine, ON
  • The King’s Pearl, 71 King Street, Tiverton, ON (5:00-6:00 p.m. on draw days only)

Draws will be held each Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. until the Ace of Spades has been found. The draw will run for a maximum of 26 weeks, with the final draw on December 17, 2019, just in time for Christmas, if the Ace of Spades has not been previously found.

Lottery proceeds will be divided 60% to Huron Shores Hospice to go towards operating expenses and 40% to the Tiverton & District Lions Club for their continued community work.
