The Lake Huron Centre for Coastal Conservation (LHCCC) is a non-government charitable organization established in 1998 with the goals of protecting and restoring Lake Huron’s coastal environment, and supporting a healthy coastal ecosystem.
On Wednesday, February 13th, 2019 the LHCCC will be holding their 2nd annual Coastal Speaker Series. This FREE evening workshop is part of a series of events being held along the coastline, which are meant to be a fun, family-friendly opportunity to network, share, and learn more about Lake Huron’s beautiful coast.
The Southampton Coastal Speaker Series will be an opportunity to discover diverse topics from across Bruce County regarding Lake Huron’s unique coastal habitats. This evening will be a chance to share experiences across Lake Huron, learn a bit from expert speakers, and hear an update on the Coastal Action Plan for Lake Huron.
The Southampton Coastal Speaker Series will take place Wednesday, February 13th at the Historic Southampton Town Hall (201 High Street) from 6:30-8:30pm.
