Hot chocolate, hotdogs and a campfire popular at MacGregor Park

Despite cold temperatures on Saturday, February 15th, MacGregor Point Provincial Park was a busy site.

The skating oval is in top form and many took advantage of skating among the trees while others took part in cross-country skiing.

One of the best parts of the cold afternoon however, was an open campfire at the Visitors’ Centre where visitors could not only get warm but also roast hotdogs and enjoy a hot chocolate by donation thanks to the Friends of MacGregor who held the fundraiser.

Friend of MacGregor, Sara Dolbeck kept the hot chocolate flowing                    while husband, Ken, was off helping with the hotdogs
Among the many four-legged furry friends was                Cricket in her warm pink coat
