Thursday, December 6th will see a guaranteed bingo jackpot of $1000. Wow wouldn’t that be nice just before Christmas. December 13 there will be 15 door prizes of a box of after eight mints and December 20th, a chance to win one of 15 turkeys. So come out and support the legion bingo. Who knows you might just go home a winner.
Are looking for something to do on New Year’s Eve? Why not come to the legion. Joseph J is going to be the DJ for the evening. There will be party favours, munchies and a cold buffet at 11:00 p.m. Tickets will be $35 per person. They will be available to legion members only until Dec 1 and then to the public after that.
Have you paid your dues yet for the year? If you pay by 30 November 2018 you will save $5.00 dues are $55.00 for Ordinary, Associate and Affiliate members but if you wait till Dec 1 2016 dues will be $60.00. dues for Veterans remain at $50.00 all year. You can pay at the legion bar, or you also have the option to pay online just go to the Dominion web-site at legion.ca.
The Fiddlers will be in the clubhouse on Nov. 27th and Dec. 11th. If you haven’t had a chance to come listen to these talented musicians do try. Kincardine has some very talented people and these are some of them. There is no charge to come and enjoy their music.
There will be a mega meat draw on Saturday Dec 1 in the legion hall. There will be 16 meat draws and a special raffle draw. Mark the date down and grab some family and friends and come out to the legion for the afternoon. Doors open at 2pm.
December’s Family dinner will be held on Sunday December 9th in the hall from 4:30 to 6pm.
