I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and that everyone is ready for a terrific new year. We had a great turn out for the levee on New Year’s Day. It was great to see everyone who could make it.
Just a reminder bingo is taking a short break but will resume on January 17. There will be a door prize given out every night of our winter schedule which will end on March 28th. So come out and support the legion bingo. You never know you might go home a winner.
If anyone is in need of any medical equipment such as walkers, tub seats or wheelchairs we have a number of them to lend out. We have a group of volunteers that can help you get the proper sized equipment for you to use. Just call the legion (519-396-3837) and they can get you in touch with those volunteers.
January family dinner will be held on Sunday the 13th from 4:30 to 6pm. What a great time to catch up with friends and have a wonderful meal at the same time. Meal consists of meat, potatoes, veggies, salad, dessert, tea and coffee.
Gone are the days that you had to be a legion member to come and enjoy all of the great things going on in the branch. We have some talented musicians that perform either on the Tuesday fiddle nights, Jan 8th and 22nd, or there are the jam sessions Friday Jan 4th or 18th. There are also dart boards, pool tables and a shuffle board table for your enjoyment.
The legion is open Monday to Friday from noon to 10pm and Saturdays from noon to 6pm. Hope to see you at the legion.
