The next round of Catch the Ace is starting up, with the first draw to be held on February 20. This time the legion is teaming up with Special Olympics. You can get your tickets at the legion bar, Sleeper’s Bed Gallery, Jean’s Restaurant, Esso on Queen and Edward Fuels.
The general membership meeting will be held in the clubhouse on Sunday February 24 at 2pm. All members are encouraged to come out to the meeting.
Toga trivia is happening this month on Friday February 22 at 7pm. This is a great night out and a perfect thing to do during these long winter months. Get a group together or come out and join a group. Remember you may dress up if you wish.
The branch public speaking contest will be held in the hall on February 23. Local students will be competing against each other to go on further in other legion contests. The public is welcome to come out and listen to these students. Everything will get started at 8am.
Every Thursday night bingo is in the hall doors open at 6pm the first game starts at 7pm. Weekly door prize given out from one of our sponsors.
Just a reminder the legion will be closed on Family day February 18th so the legion staff can enjoy time with their families.
