New story collection adds sparkle to the Season: Christmas Seasonings – Book Two

Just in time for gift giving, comes a new collection of stories from Lucknow-area author Michael O’Neill.  Set in rural Ontario, thirteen stories take readers through the festive season from a chamber of commerce parade-planning session to the clean-up of spruce needles played with by farm kids.

The author loves to share his joy in the wonder of Christmas, from the meals to the mess. He has delighted readers in southern Bruce County and beyond for more than two decades. In sharing home-made gifts, helping neighbours, on snowy roads and under starry skies, his characters portray the true spirit of the season.Mostly retired from careers in farming and plumbing, Mike is active in a couple of writing groups. Now a grandfather, he still feels boyish excitement when preparing for and enjoying this special season. His stories will awaken memories in older readers, who will also appreciate the large, clear print of the new book.Mike O’Neill will be reading from, and signing copies of, his book at the Paisley Christmas Market on Tuesday, December 20th at 10:00 a.m.
