Vehicle thefts continue

On November 25, 2019 at 2:14 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a theft from a resident along Cayley Street in Walkerton. Sometime between 10:30 a.m. on November 25, 2019 and 1:45 p.m. on November 25, 2019, a Blue Jeep Compass Northern Edition licence # BYLT 172 was taken. The serial number is on file with police.

On November 22, 2019 at 9:37 a.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a theft report from a residence in the 1000 block of Concession 8 in Culross Township. Sometime between 5:00 p.m. on November 21, 2019 and 9:30 a.m. on November 22, 2019, a Black Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel with licence number AH53827 was taken. The truck has “Con-Voi Septic and Excavating” on both rear side windows. The value of the stolen truck is estimated to be $20,000.

On November 25, 2019 at 6:39 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call reporting concerns with how a White pick-up truck was being driven in the town of Kincardine. Officers located the vehicle and found that the driver had been drinking alcohol. A 35-year-old male of Kincardine was charged with impaired driving and operate over 80 milligrams. He is scheduled to appear in court on December 11, 2019 to answer to the charges.
