The South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have made an arrest after appealing to the public for information pertaining to a break and enter.
On August 18, 2024, police received a report of a break and enter to a business property along Queen Street Kincardine in the Municipality of Kincardine. Once inside, the individual(s) stole approximately $2500 in clothing. Two reported break and enters occurred two nights in a row.
As a result of the investigation a 40-year-old individual from Kincardine has been arrested and charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5000. Police believe additional individuals were involved.
Police are asking the public to check video surveillance around Queen Street Kincardine between August 15, 2024, at 5:00 pm, and August 16, 2024, at 8:00 am. As well as August 17, 2024, at 9:00 pm and the early hours of August 18, 2024, at 8:00 am.
