Crime Stoppers is a civilian community organization devised to acquire information that assists law enforcement agencies in the resolution of crime. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards of up to $2,000.00 for information leading to the arrest of criminals, recovery of stolen property and seizure of illegal drugs while maintaining total anonymity to the caller and complete confidentiality of the tip.


Crime Stoppers and the South Bruce OPP are seeking the public’s help in solving the theft of a scooter. Sometime between 3:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on June 3rd a black Eton Beamer 3 scooter, bearing licence 8F9W4, was taken from a residence along 1st Avenue South in Chesley. A photo of the stolen scooter can be viewed on the Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce website and Facebook page.

* Crime Stoppers and the Bruce Peninsula OPP are seeking the public’s help in solving the theft of an ATV. Sometime between June 3rd and June 7th an orange 2015 Honda ATV was taken from a residence on Fourth Street North in Sauble Beach. The ATV is outfitted with a black rear rack box with a backrest for a second rider.

* Crime Stoppers and the South Bruce OPP are seeking the public’s help in solving the theft of a utility trailer and equipment. Sometime between 12:00 p.m. on June 14th and 10:30 a.m. on June 15th a black United UEH two axle utility trailer, bearing licence H9830P, was taken from a residence in the 2500 block of Bruce Road 3 in Brant Township. The trailer has a large dent on the right side, and at the time of the theft contained a green John Deere riding mower and self-propelled mower. The value of the stolen items is more than $4,000.

* Crime Stoppers and the South Bruce OPP are seeking the public’s help in solving the theft of a red Lincoln 225 welder that occurred sometime between 8:00 p.m. on June 15th and 5:30 a.m. on June 16th. The welder was removed from a detached shed at a property in the 1000 block of Bruce Road 4 in Brant Township. The value of the stolen welder is estimated to be $500, and the serial number is on file with police.

* Crime Stoppers and the South Bruce OPP are seeking the public’s help in solving the theft of a pickup truck. Sometime between 4:30 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. on June 18th a gray GMC Sierra pick-up, bearing licence AM93045, was taken from a residence in the 500 block of Inglis Street in Lucknow.

* Crime Stoppers and the South Bruce OPP are seeking the public’s help in solving a theft and mischief in the village of Ripley that occurred sometime between 6:00 p.m. on June 19th and 7:00 a.m. on June 20th. An outbuilding at the Botanical Gardens along Park Street was forcibly entered, and a second outbuilding was painted with graffiti. Stolen were marigold flowers, a quantity of heritage seeds, and a quantity of cash from a donation box. The value of the stolen property is more than $1,000.

* Crime Stoppers and the South Bruce OPP are seeking the public’s help in solving the theft of a sports car. Sometime between 3:00 p.m. on June 30th and 4:00 p.m. on July 2nd a white Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, bearing licence ARPC628, was taken from a detached shed at a property along the B-Line in Elderslie Township. The car has a “T-top” roof and a chrome luggage rack on the trunk. The value of the stolen car is estimated to be $30,000.
