OPP Sexual assault investigation asking for public’s help

The South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking help from the public with a sexual assault investigation in the town of Walkerton.

Reported to police on September 21, 2018 at 8:14 p.m., the assault took place along the trail system, near the Saugeen River, in the town of Walkerton.

Investigators are asking for your help to identify the suspect, who is described as:

  • Male with dark colored skin
  • Short with a thick torso
  • Approximately 40-years-old
  • Dark hair and dark brown eyes
  • Investigators believe he speaks Spanish or Portugese
  • Wearing a white t-shirt and a baseball cap
