Well we have plenty of snow now but don’t let the warmer temperatures fool you. Don’t take out the Bermuda shorts yet, this is Grey Bruce and we still have many more snow days coming.
Last week we talked about the accident at the bottom of the 15th in Inverhuron. There were many suggestions on what to do but we are pleased to say there is a stop sign at Lake Street and Bruce 15 and a warning of a stop sign before that. But there is still a review on other ways to improve this corner. Let’s hope this helps.
There will also be a round-about at Bruce County Road 23 (B-line) and Concession 2, northwest of Tiverton, to help control the influx of traffic from Bruce Power. This will be at a cost of $1-million to $1.5-million but may not be installed until next year.
Manor Musings
It was a wonderful day at Tiverton Park Manor on Friday as all the residents and staff received their first Covid 19 vaccines. TPM made it a very festive clinic which included balloons, happy posters, snacks and a “photo booth”. There was much excitement as residents and staff lined up to receive their first dose of the vaccine. Paramedics were in house during the clinic. Check out their facebook page for more pictures. We are all patiently waiting for the second round. Check out their facebook page for more pictures.
