I hope everyone is doing well and survived the storm last week. There were a few trees down and some power lost but we came thru it.
Summer is winding down but the flowers in the village look great. Thanks to all the volunteers and the staff at the municipality for all their hard work.
Tiverton Agricultural Society News
The Tiverton agricultural society didn’t let crazy covid stop them from hosting their Beef Dinner. This year was a drive thru where you purchased your tickets, then drove around the front of the Whitney Crawford Center where you were treated to drinks, dessert and finally the best beef dinner in the county in take-out containers. So much work was put into this dinner and they did a fantastic job. The dinner was as delicious as it has been in other years. Great job.
Tiverton & District Lions club News
The Tiverton Lions are also not going to let Crazy Covid stop them from having their annual Community Garage Sale. The date is Friday, September 24th 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday the 25th from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Tiverton Annex. There will be no barbecue this year but lots of deals.
If you would like to donate items, other than electronics and clothing, they can be dropped off Wed. the 22nd from 10am to 3pm, Thursday Sept 23rd from 4pm to 9pm and Friday the 24th from 9am to 1pm. This year you can rent a space and/or table for your own garage sale.
